Dear Peanut – You are a such a curious little boy! Always on the lookout for new sights and sounds. You are also smiling all the time now, and have started to giggle for real too! Oh.. and that hair of yours? It has become your signature style.

SLEEP
Well, where do I start? Sleep training went down south the moment we stepped foot on the plane. When we got to China you were too jet-lagged to fall into a sleep routine, and once you adjusted to the time change, it was time to come home. We tried sleep training you again once we got back, but we didn’t make it pass night one. Truth is, we didn’t have the heart to do it all over again. Plus your cries are insanely loud now. So yup…we are back to sleepless nights!
EAT
Breastfeeding has become a natural thing for the both of us, but now that you’ve started daycare we don’t get to do it as often anymore. I still try to sneak in that extra time with you in the morning and at night, but at this point you are mostly bottles.
MILESTONES
rolling from front to back
I finally caught it on video! You figured out how to roll and so every time we do tummy time you are immediately rolling on to your back. However, you haven’t quite figured out how to roll back to your tummy yet.
laughs & giggles
If I thought hearing you “talk” was the cutest thing, then I was SO wrong because hearing you giggle is THE best sound yet!
FAVORITE MEMORIES
one month in China
I am so glad we were able to spend this quality time with your Abu and Aya and if I’m being honest it was great to have the extra help. During our month there we took you out to many places and you also met many friends and family. You won’t remember much from this trip, but I can’t wait to show you all the pics and video once you are older.
Happy birthday dad!
We started Dad’s celebration with a nice family brunch at Lamill Coffee (one of our favorite spots), and then headed to Highland Park Brewery where you got to meet some of Dad’s coworkers.
thanksgiving
The one thing we are most thankful for this year is YOU.
daycare
You started daycare now that I am officially back at work. Its only been two weeks, but thankfully it has all worked out. You adjusted pretty fast to your teachers and the drive home is not bad since you fall asleep as soon as we jump on the freeway. I am hoping it stays like that, but something tells me it won’t. The only downside from daycare is that on the first week you came home with a nasty cold that we are still trying to fight.
peed on Dad
You’ve peed on that multiple times in the last 4 months, however this moment right here was the best one yet.
