Dear Peanut – you’ve had your first taste of something other than breastmilk (avocado) and after a few tries you are OBSESSED! (just like Mom) You’ve sorta mastered rolling from back to front but only do it when nobody is watching, and you can finally sit up by yourself.. but only for a limited time before you tip over. Happy half birthday buddy!

Six Months
SLEEP
At 6 months, you finally slept through the night! Unfortunately, it only lasted a couple days. You got sick again, this time with a nasty cold and cough that had you waking up every hour at night. The only way you would sleep a little longer was in our arms so we brought you to sleep with us until you got better. But now that you are better, you wont sleep anywhere but in bed with us (third wheel much?)
EAT
The last few weeks I’ve been tempted to feed you solids but you haven’t shown much interest in the foods we eat yet. I’ve been giving you a little bit of bone broth to get you started but most of the time when we offer you something, you just stare at it for a solid minute and turn away. It wasn’t until a couple days ago that you finally showed some interest when I mashed a little bit of avocado and offered it to you. At first you looked confused, but seconds later you were asking for more!
